Young Family with Emergency Appendectomy Bill

My Story:

I am a married mother of a one-year-old. Our child is learning to walk and loves going outside. I work 6 hours a week at a Mother's Day Out program at our church. My Husband is a full-time youth minister at our church and is currently working on his Ph.D. full-time.

Last year we had to pay more in medical bills for my son's birth than we expected because my medical insurance deductible doubled after we got pregnant. I also was hospitalized three weeks after the birth with an unexpected infection. This all but drained our savings account. So when my husband had to have emergency surgery in December, we had no idea how we were going to pay for it. We are desperate now because I am also going to have another necessary medical procedure next week which will add to our bills. We need Modest Needs to help pay for my husband's medical bill. This bill would significantly hurt our financial situation.

This funding will allow us to stay on our on feet financially and would truly bless our family. It would make a world of difference. Please help our family.
