Recent College Graduate Needs Help With Rent After Mother Loses Cancer Battle
My Story:
I am a 23 year old recent college graduate who just started a job with a construction consulting firm. I live alone now because my mother lost her 3 year battle with cancer on Christmas morning. I take comfort she was there to see me graduate a week prior.
My mom's limited income had paid our rent but now I am stuck with all the bills including rent. While I have a new job, this is a lot for someone just getting started in life. I worry I will not be able to keep up before I start making my consistent income. I need Modest Needs' help to pay my rent so I can balance all other bills, work and start a proper savings.
I want to be able to start life out right after such a terrible loss. I promised my mom that I would be alright and I do not want to think I failed her. This would also allow me to have hope that something good can still come out of life after seeing so much sadness. Please help me.
