I am in a shock and awe that my application was funded. Thank you very much to all the people around the world who helped me in my time of need. My children and I are forever grateful to those who donated to help me with rent. A huge weight is lifted off my shoulder so I may become current with my bills. I will be repaying the favor to those who are in need when my finances allow. As always, I will continue to teach my children to help those in need because one day they may need the help and when providing to others it may come back to help you in the long run. Single Mother Needs Rental Help after Temporary Loss of Income
My Story:
I am a single mother of three beautiful children. My daughter just turned 11 and is such a great help to me. She loves to make bracelets. My son is 6 and full of energy. He loves to keep busy doing puzzles. My youngest son is 1 and is a little cutie. He is always laughing and playing.
In the past year, I experienced some financial setbacks. I had a miscarriage in early spring, and right around the same time, my children's father missed some of his child support payments. I have been trying to catch up ever since, but I always have to skip one bill in order to catch up with another. Living from paycheck to paycheck, I simply have not been able to get everything back on track after so many things caused financial hardship in a short amount of time, and would be very thankful for some one-time help to get things back on track again.
I am requesting help with one month of rent. I am nervous that my landlord will take legal action if I do not get my payments back on schedule.
This funding will ensure we have a roof over our heads, and that I am able to get all of the bills current again. I would feel a huge relief to know we will not face anymore accumulation of late fees or live in fear of eviction. My children and I would be grateful for any help you may be able to provide. It would show my kids that people really do make a difference in the world. It will teach them to help others in need when they are able to do so in the future.
