One day I was home crying, wondering how I am going to pay my rent, when I spent what I had to a vet due to an illness my small dog had. Then I saw a TV station talking about Modest Needs and how it helps people. At first I thought it wasn't real, but I wanted to give it a try and look how I ended up? I got funded by people that don't even know me, but found it in their hearts to help a complete stranger. I do believe in miracles now. One day soon I will do the same for someone on here to pay back what I got from complete caring people that don't even know me. This site is amazing. Thank you to all that donated and this helped me see things differently on how important it is to help others in time of need.
In Need of Urgent Rent Help after Paying Emergency Vet Bill
My Story:
I am a single parent to one son and three small rescue dogs. My dogs, Cali, Lucky, and PJ all came into my life unexpectedly and rescued me from depression as much as I rescued them. Every day is a blessing, thanks to my wonderful son and my dogs. I love to help others, and work full-time at an oral surgeon's office. I never thought I would be the person who had to ask for help, but last month hit me with a number of expenses for my son and my dog, and now I am struggling.
I don't have a savings account, and live from paycheck to paycheck every month. I have always managed, but hit a snag last month when one of my dogs became extremely ill and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. My dogs do so much for me, and I would give my life for them. My dog's hospitalization, tests, and treatments were a large expense I was not prepared to pay, and left me unable to cover my rent this month.
I am asking for Modest Needs' help to catch up with my rent. I cannot afford to move, and with three dogs, it would not be easy to find a new place quickly. I am so scared that my dogs, my son, and I will lose our home, so I am reaching out in the hopes I may be able to receive this one-time assistance to get back on my feet.
Your help would give me a fresh start and put me back on track with all of my expenses. It would mean so much to me to be free of this stress and worry. Even if you are not able to assist me, I really appreciate all you do and thank you for your time and consideration.
