Back to Work after Job Loss- Please Help with Rent

My Story:

I am 24 and live in an apartment with my mother and my dog, Gizzy. Our household is always full of laughter and good vibes. My mom and I share responsibility for our expenses each month, but I was in an accident in June that left me unable to work due to the pain and health issues. After being out of work for several months, we fell behind on our bills. Although I have just begun a new job, we are struggling to catch up with our financial obligations.

I am asking for Modest Needs to help us catch up with our rent. I have been actively communicating with my landlord, and while he is very understanding, he has made it clear that his hands are tied and will be forced to evict us if we do not catch up quickly.

Your help would bring such a feeling of relief to our household, and would take a load off of my heart. Now that I am working, we will be able to rebuild our stability, and this help would do so much to help us regain our footing. People like you are true blessings and I appreciate you so much.
