Single Mom of 3 Needs Help with Plumbing Repair Cost
My Story:
I am a Special Education teacher and a single mom of three teenagers. My 18-year-old daughter loves animals and young children and hopes to own and maintain a farm one day. My 16-year-old son wants to be a welder and mechanic, and loves extreme sports. My 13-year-old son loves sports in general and is very athletic.
While I earn enough to pay for our basic bills, I do not make enough to save for additional expenses. I try to do what I can to save on costs and take care of things like small household repairs myself. However, our bathroom is in need of a repair that is much too big for a nonprofessional, and I have no way to afford this necessary expense on my own right now.
I am asking for Modest Needs' help to pay for this repair cost in our bathroom. It is getting worse, and will become more expensive to fix if I do not get it taken care of soon. The water leakage in the walls is creating a health hazard by creating an environment for mold and mildew, and the tiles are falling off making it dangerous for my family to use the bathroom.
This funding will allow me to breathe a sign of relief, knowing I will be able to continue paying the monthly bills and my children and I will be able to safely use our bathroom and shower. I would be forever grateful and would definitely pay it forward when I am in a position to do so. I live knowing that I have more than some, and less than others, and give of myself what little I do have when I know I can help someone else in need. I really do not like asking for help, but at this point, I need to do this for my family. I truly appreciate your consideration.
