Husband Missed Work for Surgery: Please Help Us Catch Up with Mortgage
My Story:
My husband and I have been married for one and a half years. We have a puppy who just turned one this past December. I work full-time as a preschool teacher, and my husband works full-time at a wastewater treatment plant.
My husband recently had to have surgery on his ACL and meniscus and was temporarily unable to work. Due to the loss of income from his job, and the overwhelming medical expenses, we've been struggling to stay on track with our regular bills.
We are asking for Modest Needs' help to catch up with our mortgage payment. We worry we could lose our home if we do not bring this bill current soon.
This funding will put us back on our feet and give us a fresh start. We are now focused on working as hard as possible to build a savings to serve as a safety net should we encounter a similar situation in the future.
