In Need of Rent Help after I Had to Take Medical Leave from Work

My Story:

I am a single 49-year-old woman. I am the daughter of great parents- an 88-year-old mom who just had knee replacement surgery, and a World War II veteran who passed in 2009. I am an aunt to some really awesome nieces and nephews.
br /> I work full-time and pay all my bills on time, but I do have some health issues which include severe depression and migraines. I had been doing well with my recovery until a couple of months ago when I experienced a severe episode that forced me to take unpaid medical leave from my job for 5 weeks. I quickly used up the small savings I built, and now am financially struggling. Although I have just returned to my job, I will not have a full paycheck for a while longer. Fortunately, I was able to make arrangements with the utility companies. However, I am unable to afford my rent payment this month.

I am hoping Modest Needs can assist me in paying my rent this month. I am terrified my rental company will begin legal proceedings if I do not come up with the payment very soon, and this is so challenging as I try so hard to focus on my recovery and being back at work full-time.

Your assistance will bring my rent current and allow me to let go of the fear of losing my home and having no place to go. Now that I am back to work, this one-time help will give me a fresh start and allow me to get back on my feet financially. I am hoping to do more volunteer work soon in the hopes of helping others who also suffer from health conditions.
