Mom Needs Mortgage Help due to Recent Medical Expenses

My Story:

I am a single mom of a handsome, intelligent 9-year-old son. He is in the 3rd grade and loves to play outside, ride his bike, watch/play sports, and seems to really love getting dirty and making messes! He is in gifted math classes this year. I work full-time as a paralegal at a personal injury law firm.

This year, my family has endured some trying times. My mom had neck surgery which left her recovering for 8 weeks, and my father was sick and out of work for 6 weeks. I did everything I could do to help them, which left me without any emergency funds for our own needs. My son has a health condition that requires visits to a specialist. My work recently changed my insurance, and the medical bills I had to pay out of pocket put me in a financial bind with my regular bills. On top of everything else, I exhausted my sick pay at work, and lost income while caring for my family.

I am asking for Modest Needs' help with my mortgage payment. I am late with the payment, and am feeling stressed and overwhelmed. All of these unforeseen expenses came at me at once, and I am terrified that my son and I could lose our home if I do not get back on schedule with my payments soon.

Your help will alleviate my worry, and allow me to focus my energy on my son, just like I should be doing. I have been losing sleep due to the financial stress, and your assistance would put my mind at ease. I have worked so hard to give my son a good life, and providing this home has been such an accomplishment for me. I do not want to be so focused on my worries that life passes us by. I want my kid to be a kid and not worry about anything like this. This funding would get everything back under control for me, and allow me to return to enjoying life with my son again. Thank you!
