Transitioning Navy Vet Needs Help with Her Electric Bill

My Story:

I am a 25-year-old Navy veteran. I honorably separated in early 2016, and have been rated 60% disabled. I have recently started school, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, and one day hope to be a news broadcaster.

I did not have steady income between leaving the military and beginning school, and I fell behind on some of my bills prior to receiving any income from the VA.

I am asking for Modest Needs to help me with my past-due electric bill. I fear my power will be disconnected soon if I do not find a little bit of help. I take classes online, so losing my power, would make it very hard for me to focus on my studies and complete my assignments.

Your assistance with this bill would be such a wonderful gift to me. It would lift a heavy burden from my shoulders, allowing me to focus on my schoolwork. This would be such a source of motivation and inspiration for me, and I hope to soon be able to pay it forward to others in similar situations!
