I was having a rough day today thinking of when my fiance would ever be able to come home and just having so much stuff go wrong. Then I come home and check my email and find out that my request for help was approved. I was amazed! I have been thinking this whole time that it would not work out and I never get any help. I have been on my own since I was 15 years old and even longer really. I have always done everything myself. Having a child with health issues makes it so hard to go to work and I cannot thank you enough for the help I have received. I am going to school to get a degree and the baby is getting bigger and his asthma and allergies seems to be getting better. I have hardly missed any work in the last few months. You can bet when I get back on track with things I will be back here to help others out too. Again, thank you guys sooo much!
Need Electric Bill Help after Car Troubles
My Story:
I am a single mom with one son. My son has health issues, so I wind up missing work too often, and struggle financially as a result. I don't have any other family, as my parents died when I was young, and there's really no one else. I have always had to depend on myself, and I have done pretty well.
I live paycheck to paycheck, and just manage to get by from month to month. I recently needed to get my car repaired in order to drive to work and take my son to the doctor, and this has left me short on my bills.
I am asking for Modest Needs' help with the electric bill. I am worried that the power will be shut off, and my son and I will be without necessary utilities.
If we get this help, we will be caught up and able to move forward. Things have been snowballing between missed work and car problems, and I just need a helping hand to get out of this hole. We would be so grateful for the assistance, and once I am able to get some savings back up, I'd like to return as a donor and help others out.
