USAF Veteran and Family Need Urgent Help to Keep Electricity Connected
My Story:
I am a married father of four wonderful children- three boys and one girl! My 7-year-old twins are both in 2nd grade. My boy twin loves video games and my girl twin loves dance. My 6-year-old loves swimming and video games. My 3-year-old loves to play with toys and is a handful. I am a USAF veteran, now working as an investigator full-time.
We earn enough to pay for basic expenses each month, but we do not earn enough to build a savings. We were unprepared when several unforeseen expenses hit us at once. We had to pay for a large vehicle repair, as well as a major household repair when our A/C broke. This has put us in a position where we are falling behind on some of our monthly bills, and we're trying hard to get back on track.
I am asking for Modest Needs to help us with one of our larger monthly bills, our electric bill, so we can have the breathing room we need to bring our other bills current again. We just narrowly avoided a service disconnection, and we're worried without some help to catch up with the utilities, we will not have any power in our home. With four small children, we cannot allow this to happen.
Your assistance would bring our household current with our bills and restore our sense of stability. Your help would make a long-lasting impact on our family, and would set a great example for our children. We would love for them to see that people can make a difference for others, and pay it forward in turn.
