User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeI don't even know where to begin! For some reason I didn't believe that I would get this funding. In a way I felt bad for asking. I thought judgement would be the first thought that went through your head. There has been a lot going on to our family in the back ground and it has been affecting us financially. To put it into a couple of sentences that I'm sure all of you will understand, I have been going through a court battle with my daughter's mother (x-girlfriend from my younger days). We have been the focus of her unhappiness since I have married and had a baby with my wife. My wife and I have a big family with her 3 kids and my daughter, plus Oliver, our baby boy between her and I. Her husband, with her 3 kids, passed away 4 years ago in an automobile accident so I have a big financial responsibility with my single income household. With my wife being a stay at home mother and only my income, we live a very simple life so that we can keep her at home for us all. So this contribution to our family simply put, life changing. You have kept Oliver, our 10 month old, out of daycare, for one. We all want to see her face when we get home, me from work and the kids from school. We all have made sacrifices to keep her home. Like everything else in life, I really thought asking for this funding would be incredibly time consuming and hard and in the end denied. It was absolutely the opposite and I thank each and everyone of you for that! The thing is, is that you didn't have to do this for us but that you wanted to. I am so grateful for that! Thank you so very much! God bless you.

Bell Lumber & Pole Employee Hardship Fund

My Story:

I work for Bell Pole Lumber Company full-time as a heavy equipment operator. My wife and I have been married for one year. She is a stay-at-home mom. Combined, we have five children. My three stepchildren are 19, 15, and 13. My daughter is 14, and together, my wife and I have a 10-month-old baby boy. He's been such a blessing to us all! He is a daddy's boy and always greets me with a smile and hug when I come home from work. We have a big family, and in order for my wife to be able to stay at home, we live a very simple lifestyle.

We are asking for help to pay for some essential vehicle repairs and new tires. We just cannot afford to get the car fixed and still manage to keep up with our other expenses. Once the repairs are completed, we should have reliable transportation for a long time.

This financial obstacle has caused a lot of stress and feelings of instability in our household. Some days, it just makes me feel helpless, like nothing is going our way. This one-time assistance would lift a huge burden off of our family and keep us on track. Thank you.
