Veteran Needs Help to Prevent Eviction
My Story:
I have been in the Army National Guard for 16 years. I have been on two deployments to Iraq and most recently I was deployed to Kosovo. I am currently going through out patient PTSD rehabilitation through the VA, and I am also under treatment for Degenerative Disk Disease and Compressed L4-L6. I usually earn enough to pay for my basic expenses, but tend to live pay check to paycheck. So when I had to take time off work to deal with these unforeseen circumstances I ended up falling behind on my rent. I'm currently trying to get caught up but I am worried I will face eviction before I can get back on track.
I am asking Modest Needs for help with my rental payment. Without this help I will not be able to get out from under the financial rut I find myself in. I have tried to reach out to my family but no one has the ability to help me right now. I am very fearful that I will end up homeless.
This funding would help to bring me current with my bills again, and allow me to regain my stability. I have applied for part time jobs that will help me to build a little savings to prevent this from happening again. You would make a lasting impact on my life by helping me overcome this difficult time. Once I am back on my feet I plan on paying this forward and making a donation to assist others in need. Thank you for your consideration.
