Family Needs Help Paying for Water Heater Replacement
My Story:
I am a married mother of four children, ages 10, 11, 11, and 13. My husband worked very hard for the past 35 years, but was diagnosed with MS this past November. In January, he fell and had to have major back surgery, then go through rehab to learn to walk again. I work full-time, and am currently the sole income earner in our household.
We are having a difficult time making ends meet on one income, but we're doing the best we can. Our water heater went out, leaving us with no hot water. We have no way of fully covering the cost of a new water heater, and we do not qualify for any assistance through local or government-based programs here.
We are seeking Modest Needs' help to pay for the replacement water heater. We have managed to pay for about 1/3 of the total cost, but we need to find a way to come up with the rest. Right now we are worried we will not be able to afford enough groceries, or cover some of our smaller bills because of the setback this has caused, and we really have no way of coming up with the remaining amount we need to pay.
Your help would take away so much of the pressure, stress, and anxiety that has been draining me, and will allow me to focus on taking care of my family. Thank you so much for any help you can provide.
