Mom Seeking Help with Car Payment after Paying for Unexpected Repair Cost
My Story:
I am a single mother of two energetic boys. We love spending time together as a family! I work full-time to support my family, so being able to spend my free time with my boys means a lot to me! I earn enough to cover basic bills, but living paycheck to paycheck, I can't set aside savings for emergencies.
I recently had to pay for an unforeseen vehicle repair expense, and that is all it took to completely throw me off of budget. I need my car to go to work, so there was no choice for me when it needed to be fixed. The problem is, I am now in a position where I cannot cover all of our bills this month.
I am asking for Modest Needs to help me catch up with my missed car payment. Losing my car to repossession would be unthinkable, especially after having just paid for repairs. I am very worried that we'll lose the car, and I will be without any transportation to work.
This funding would bring me current with my bills again, and take away the feeling of worry I have had since paying for the repair costs. This would be a big help to me, and to my boys!
