My family and I have been through so much and yes times have been hard for not only us but for many of you that have donated to us. Modest needs has now given us some light at the end of that tunnel that at times I thought I would never see that light. I served for Country for nearly 8 years deployed to Iraq. Seen things that I hope many of you never have to experienced in your lifetimes. I have always stayed true to God, family, friends and to my Country, and to see many individuals that are willingly to help those in need is an awesome feeling. Once again thank you all for your love and support and your donations. God Bless you all. Jared W. Campbell Iraq War Veteran

Iraq Veteran Needs Help Catching Up with Car Payment

My Story:

I am a married father of five children. We have one son and four daughters. Our son, who is our oldest at 8, is autistic. Our daughters are 6, 4, 2, and 7 months. Our kids are my wife's and my entire life. My wife has been my rock, and has stood b me through thick and thin. I am a veteran who suffers from service-connected PTSD, and I am currently unable to work. My wife is also a veteran, and stays at home with our children, as childcare costs would cost more than her income from working.

Last year I was hospitalized for treatment, and I am now going to the VA regularly for outpatient group and individual counseling. I have had a difficult time maintaining employment or continuing my education since my hospitalization. I am working with the VA to adjust my income due to my disabilities making it impossible for me to work, but so far I have not received any additional compensation. My doctors have said I cannot work, and we're falling short on our bills as I wait for the VA to sort things out with my compensation.

I am asking for Modest Needs' help with our vehicle payment. I need to have regular transportation to my appointments and treatments, as well as to get our children to school and doctor appointments. We're in danger of losing our car to repossession, and this is adding to the stress of our situation.

Your help to get our car payment caught up would bring a huge sense of relief to my wife and me. We'd be able to get our other expenses back on track while we work to downsize our living costs and come up with long-term solutions to keep our family financially stable moving forward. Your assistance would mean a lot to us, and we'd appreciate it very much.
