Veteran and Single Dad At Risk of Losing Job Without Car Repair
My Story:
I'm a single Dad to an eight-year-old daughter and a Veteran. I work full time as a flight attendant, and I'm trying to do all I can to get back on my feet. Right now I am facing a real crisis as my truck suddenly broke down a week ago and had to be towed to a repair shop. This truck is my only way to get to work, so without the repair I don't know how I will be able to keep my job. I live pay check to pay check and do not have the extra money to pay to fix my truck on my own.
I am turning to Modest Needs for help to afford my truck repair. Without this assistance I will have no way to fix my vehicle and will lose my job, and everything that I have. I don't know what I would do if that happened.
This funding will help me get my truck fixed and on the road again and will keep me from losing my career, which I worked so hard for. I worry about how this will impact my daughter, and I would be so thankful for any assistance you could provide. Thank you.
