Testimonial

This person has left the following thank you note:

I dont really know what to say. I truly never thought that my request would get funded. Days went by and they turned into weeks. And then like lightning it hit. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to helping me with this. I am not the kind of person who seeks out help from others, mainly becuase of past disappointements and let downs. But all of you at modest needs came through when i least expected it to happen. So, from a single dad fighting for his son and doing what he can, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just wish I could meet each of you in person to thank.

Need Help With Truck Payment

My Story:

I am a school bus driver and we are off for the summer break.

I budgeted my wages throughout the year for very specific bills and amounts to get me through the eleven week summer break as well as to help me pay for a custody battle that has been ongoing for several years.

Because of all I am on a very limited budget, but have been able to support myself and my son as long as one of these unexpected expenses does not arise.

I was planning all of this with the thought that my truck would be paid off just before summer break started.

I was unaware of a balloon payment at the end of my loan term.

During the course of the 5 year term I had a couple of extensions and some late payments. I was unaware that these late payments would be added on at the end of the load.

I was never made aware of this and when I asked for extensions, so the unexpected late payments came as a surprise.

When I received the final statement, the bill was significantly more than I had anticipated.

I did not plan for this expense and don't have the money to pay for it.

I have been trying to work something out with the finance company with little progress at this point.

If this goes on for to much longer they are going to come take the truck and I wont be able to get to work.

As I have already mentioned, my truck should have already been paid off, if not for this unexpected fee, and now I stand to loose it all together.

I have been trying to get a quick part time job to help, but even that is not going very well.

I can show the previous statements, which did not mention the extra charges, which came on the final bill.
