Testimonial

This person has left the following thank you note:

Dear Precious Ones, How can I ever thank you! You are angels sent from God who have brought this gift and blessing into our lives. I am humbled by God's graciousness through you. Your sacrifice, caring, and generosity have relieved a tremendous burden, and have brought a clear remnder that I am not alone on this journey. I am in awe of the bounty that each of you has shared with your giving, not only to fund this grant, but the bounty that lies within each of your hearts. I find myself struggling to find words that would adequately speak to each of you of how you have touched our lives. Please know, each and every one of you, that this gift of yourselves has trully been the hands of God reaching out with help, support, and love. We receive it feeling so undeserving and full of gratitude. When I read the e-mail about the grant being fully funded, I found myself saying 'Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, thank you God!', over and over again. Please hear the rejoicing of our hearts calling out to each of you with thanksgiving and love for what you have done through your amazing gift. May you know God's abiding presence and grace as He smiles warmly on each of you, for you have brought Him joy, honor, and delight as you have each offered of yourselves to make this grant possible. I will continually offer my thanks to God for each of you. May you know His reward, both now, and eternally for all you have done. Humbly, with our love and thanks.......Jean

Tax Bill For Terminally Ill Mother

My Story:

My request is for help to pay a portion of my property tax bill. I have 2/3 of the funds saved up, but I will not be able to pay the full bill at this time. I am a single mother with four children. My oldest child has graduated from college with a degree in aeronautical science, and he is working as an intern in his field. I have two other children who are currently in college, and the youngest is a Junior in high school.

I have been diagnosed with a terminal lung disease called pulmonary fibrosis. There is no treatment or cure for this illness. I have just completed the work-up for lung transplantation. I have been unable to work since last Fall. I have recently completed an application for Social Security Disability benefits, but the application process takes several months. And, I am told, a person is often denied on the initial application and most people have to appeal the decision, which prolongs receiving any income.

I have some income monthly from unemployment compensation. I am also receiving child support payments from my children's father. However, this income does not make up for the lost work income that I used to earn. Until I start receiving SSD benefits, I will be on a tight budget. That is the reason that I am asking for help with my current property tax bill.

Through God, all things are possible. My faith is strong. God speaks through His people, and moves mightily and miraculously. He is always faithful, and I entrust my life, my children, and my health and future to Him. Thank you for listening and caring. May God bless you all.
