Eating One Meal a Day After Loss of Income

My Story:

This Fort Worth, Texas woman lives with her daughter and granddaughter where she has just begun a new job after a tragic layoff. She was without work and without an income, so inevitably, she fell behind on her bills.

WIth new employment secured she is working as many overtime hours as possible in order to catch up on wages lost, but her rent is due sooner than she will be able to bridge the gap. And so, under our New Employment Grant, this individual is seeking one-time assistance with the cost of her housing.

Right now she is eating just one meal a day in order to have enough food in the house for her grandchild. With this assistance she can buy the groceries she needs to feed herself and her family so that she can concentrate fully on the new job she's taken.
