Disabled Woman: Safe Tires for Doctor Visits

My Story:

She is a 49 year old women in Rothschild, Wisconsin who lives with her two dogs who 'have been life savers several times over.' This lady has had five by-pass heart surgeries, battles asthma, depression, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, glaucoma and kidney disease.

The four tires on her only form of transportation are bald and in need of replacing. Under our Independent Living Grant, she is seeking one-time assistance with the cost of new tires so that she can safely get to and from her required medical treatments. She is also a caretaker for a lady whom she needs to be able to travel to.

Without help she will have to go without medical care, and she requires many specialists to stay well. If you'd like to invest in the health of this single Wisconsin woman, then please consider making a contribution to Modest Needs and using your points to vote that we fund this request.
