Formerly Homeless Woman Needs Refrigerator

My Story:

I am a single woman living in Garden Grove, California woman who constantly battles anxiety and depression. It's a fight I've been having for more than twenty years. I manage my mental illness with counseling and medication, and I am also a student trying to better her situation so that she can become firmly self-sufficient.

In the last four years I have gone from living behind a trash bin at a car wash (1 yr), to sleeping in my car (2 yrs), to the salvation army homeless shelter (1yr) and now have just moved into my own apartment. I've come such a long way to being able to take care of myself. All I need now is a refrigerator.

I'm asking for one-time assistance to purchase the refrigerator so I can buy and eat fresh food. This assistance will allow me a much better quality of life and would mean so much to me. It would be like a dream come true to not have to eat canned food all of the time.
