This person has left the following thank you note:

User-submitted image - Click to see real sizeAll of you have blessed our lives so much. The A/C is so badly needed. Now I can go without worry on my MS getting worse due to the heat and also keep my windows closed so I can breathe without my allergies flaring up. I can not say thank you enough. My family and I are truly grateful and will have years without this worry to burden our lives. The new A/C comes with a warranty so I can keep it running when needed for years without fear. My grand kids can come over and not have to be sprayed with water to keep them cool, I won't have to take 10 or more cold showers in a day just to lower my body temperature. I love you all for the care and generosity you have shown my family. With Love and Blessings, Lisa and Family

Disabled MS Patient Needs Replacement Window AC - Temp is 96 Degrees In My Home

My Story:

My husband and I are both on social security. We are barely making it month to month, but we can pay our bills.
We live in a part of the country where it's normally not that hot. Right now, temperatures are in the upper 90s almost every day. This is bad for me because I have Multiple Sclerosis, and the heat makes my condition worse. The heat causes slurred speech, cognitive issues, loss of mobility, swelling of all limbs, and severe pain.

We have a window AC, but we've been using it so much that last week, the compressor went out. The temperature in my home today is 96 degrees, and all the fans are doing is circulating heat.

We need help to replace our broken air conditioner. We can't afford to do this on what social security pays us, and for us, the heat is dangerous.

.If you can help, it would mean the world to me and my husband. This is one time we can't take care of ourselves, and I'm sorry to ask, but we really do need the help this one time.
