113 Degree Days and No A/C

My Story:

This family is six, in blazing hot Gilbert, Arizona, have been struggling financially ever since they lost their family business during the recession. They nearly lost their home, as well, but were able to renegotiate their loan just in time.

Now they face the difficulty of 113-degree days with no air conditioning in their only form of transportation. The youngest of their four children is just ten months old, and traveling to necessary appointments is miserable for every one involved.

Under the Self Sufficiency Grant, this family who has worked so hard to keep afloat, is asking for assistance to repair the cooling unit in their van so that the children can travel comfortably, without the suffering that comes with 113 degree heat.
