1-Year-Old w/ Kidney Disease: A/C
My Story:
Hi everyone, I'm a single mom of 5. I am not working due to my 1-year-old son's kidney disease. I'm his primary caretaker and need to be there for him at all times. Hopefully he'll get his transplant and I'll be able to work at some point.
I rent a home but it does not have central air. I have 3 fans, but when it gets hot, it could be very harmful to my son, who is doing home-dialysis and cannot tolerate heat. A fan will not be enough to keep him cool when the summer heat sets in. I can't afford an air conditioner at this time, and my son desperately needs one for his room.
I hope someone can help my son stay cool this summer. Thanks to everyone that can help out in any way!
