Older Lady: Help Avoid Foreclosure

My Story:

I am an older lady who has been in real estate for 20+ yrs. I have survived the 2 year disappearance of my salary by taking small jobs as a Census worker, internet-based sales, and taking in two tenants to rent rooms in my home.

I fell behind in my regime fees, while trying to keep my head above water by just paying for my most basic needs such as food and electricity. My HOA gave me a deadline to pay my outstanding bill by May 31, 2011, or a foreclosure action will occur.

I had been saving up for this, and had managed to put away over a thousand dollars. Then in January of this year, I had to use all of that money (and then some) to have my car fixed. In addition, I lost my job on April 1st, and my income has been reduced by 50%.

l have been saving again, and have paid down the balance, but I am still short on the FINAL payment. Time is running out, and I really need to get the rest of the money together.

If you could assist me this one time, I could eliminate this foreclosure fear, get back on my feet and begin being a full-time wage-earner once again. Please consider helping someone who has been industrious all of her life (I worked my way through both college and grad school). Thank you for your generosity, and I will pay it forward.
