Children Need Eyeglasses For School
My Story:
Dear Modest Needs Donor:
After being unemployed for quite some time, I decided to try to start a small business. I have put everything that I have into trying to get the business off of the ground. I am still in the primary stages with virtually no income and no investors.
Recently, I took both of my children for eye exams. My son could not see objects that were in plain sight; and sometimes would not pay attention in class. My daughter would not complete classwork because she was too embarrassed to admit that she could not see.
It pains me that I cannot afford to help my children see better. My children deserve to have every opportunity available to be successful at school; even if I cannot provide it. It is with great humility that I ask for assistance.
