Expensive Prosthetic - Rent Help
My Story:
I suffered a life changing accident on April 13, 2008 when I was run over by a car while crossing the street. Over the past three years, I have been recovering from the near fatal accident both physically and emotionally. I lost my left leg (above the knee) and the use of my left hand -- not to mention the hours of treatment for the PTSD caused by the accident.
BUT NOW…I am enrolled at the University of West Florida seeking a degree in Statistics and Applied Mathematics [My previous career in Computer Software Engineering has been severely affected by the loss of the use of my hand]. I recently paid a very large amount as a co-pay for my prosthetic and I can walk again! But...I have depleted my savings and have found myself temporarily set back without funds to both keep my apartment AND continue school.
I am intelligent, outgoing, vibrant, extremely hardworking, and have the heart of a champion. My re-education will allow my to become independent, self-supporting, and a tax payer once again. I just need help with rent. Thank-you so much for your kindness and help.
