Back to work--help us keep our home

My Story:

I am a married mother of three. My children are 14, 12, and 10. Recently, I lost my job. Though we both work, I am the breadwinner at home, bringing in 75% of our income. When I was let go, I was ineligible for unemployment benefits. I have worked since I was 15 years old.

I have completed my bachelor's degree after having my three kids, all while working full time. I am no stranger to a challenge, but this time I need help. Without my income, we just could not afford to make our payments. We kept food on the table and the lights on, and just did the best that we could. It was/is very important to us that our children do not know that we are struggling.

We have gotten help from what friends and family that could help, but we have stretched as much as we can. I am back to work now, but the damage that 10 weeks without income has done is devastating. We don't want to lose our home! The amount that I have requested would finally get us back in good standing and keep us from losing our home that we have worked so hard for. Please help.
