Phone Bill For Suicide Hotline

My Story:

Our Crisis Center is a Volunteer Suicide/Crisis Hotline. In the last 8 months we have taken over 2,200 calls from 8 different states and successfully intervened in 12 imminent suicides, 2 of them teenagers, getting them the professional help they need. Almost 80% of our callers are lost inside a failing mental health system and we are all that keeps them afloat.

Our dedicated volunteers go through a rigorous training in which only 2 out of every 5 make it onto the phones. The program is overseen by a licensed, practicing psychologist (volunteer), and supervised by several masters level social workers (retired) and family counselors (practicing), all of which volunteer their time and energy as well to serve all who call.

We operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, free of charge. We subsist on private donations. We have donated office space, furniture and utilities, except our phone bill. Month to month we struggle to keep our phone lines open. For this little amount this month, you can make sure we continue to serve those in crisis, of which their is a growing number, and help save lives! Please, together we can give those who believe they have come to the end of their rope find new hope.
