Disabled Veteran, Paid For Emergency Car Repair, Needs Assistance With Lot Fee!
My Story:
I am a 63-year old disabled veteran who lives alone in a community for seniors. I suffer from diabetic complications and receive a small VA disability benefit and retirement, which are just enough to cover my basic expenses. Just recently my 1995 Oldsmobile broke down, and my repairs exceeded my means, I had no choice but to pay for the repair, in order to be able to remain independent, and go to the doctor and grocery store. This expense took away from my budgeted December expenses, and now I will not be able to cover all of my bills.
I am turning to Modest Needs to help me pay the lot rent for my home. If I do not pay this I will have a lien against the property and will fall behind even more. This could potentially result in losing my home as a whole. The situation is heavily affecting me, and I do not know how I will make it, as I do not have anyone to turn to for help.
I am confident that this one time assistance will allow me to regain control of my budget and also of my illness. I am very grateful for your attention, and any help that Modest Needs can provide me with. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
