I Care for My Husband With Disabilities, & I Lost Hours. We'll Be Evicted Right After Our Move Here!

My Story:

Hello, I am a married woman, and I support my husband who has disabilities. I work full-time for a medical supplier. We've been together for nearly 16 years and hope to go on forever.

We recently had to move out of necessity, and I had to pay quite a bit to move everything, even after selling half our belongings. To make things worse, I lost hours while I was momentarily between jobs, so my pay was less. We earn enough to pay for our basic expenses every month, but the expenses associated with the move and wait period to get normal paychecks afterward has put an insurmountable strain on my family.

We are asking for help with our rent; we are just one month behind, and anything will help us get caught up again. Your kind assistance will keep us from paying late and legal fees, pulling us out of the rut we are in post moving. I can continue to care for my husband and keep our heat on (yes we still need heat in Alaska in April!) while my new jobs hours level out, so I can get a decent paycheck.
