I Suddenly Felt Dizzy All the Time & Lost Work. Now My Boy With Autism & I Will Lose Power!
My Story:
I am the mom of a boy with autism, and I do delivery jobs. DoorDash and Uber allow me to focus on my studies to become a bookkeeper. Even though we have been waiting over a year for my son's IEP to start at school, he has made a lot of progress these past few months. He loves drawing and dancing, and I hope I can afford to put him in soccer or dance classes soon.
Recently, I experienced some random nausea and dizziness. I had to reduce the number of hours I was working because I could barely drive through this. I was able to manage even though I suffered a reduction in pay, but I had some bad holes in the wall that needed to be fixed, as my son has broken some things. In combination with the wages I lost, these repairs put a strain on things. I am scared we will not be able to keep our power on. My son also broke his bed frame and mattress, so I am stuck choosing between fixing his bed or keeping our power on. Everything was going to be paid on time before all these unforeseen expenses got in the way.
I am asking for help with my electric bill, so our power doesn't go out while I am getting my son's bed fixed. This will give us a second chance and be a huge gift to our household. I can focus on my health and getting the treatment I need. I will soon obtain my bookkeeper's certificate, which will give me the opportunity to work at a higher paying job. Your generous help will support our family as I transition into a new job and take care of both of our medical needs. We will never forget this act of kindness.
