My Wife is Out of Work for 6 Weeks After Getting a Hysterectomy, & We've Fallen Behind on Rent!

My Story:

I live with my wife and her 16-year-old daughter. We are not technically married but have been together for almost 12 years. My wife's daughter is in high school and just started her very first job as a restaurant hostess.

My wife is immunocompromised, and she needs a hysterectomy to relieve the stress her condition puts on her body. She has already had to miss two weeks of work to prepare for the surgery, and this caused us to fall behind on our rent. She will be on leave for at least 6 weeks after surgery, so it will not get easier for a little bit. We really don't want to use her daughter's small paychecks to help with our rent, but at this point, we will be evicted if we do not come up with something.

Our family is requesting assistance with paying our rent. This help will give us the breathing room we need until my wife can get disability payments. It will allow her teenage daughter to keep the small amount of money she earns. Your kindness will ensure my wife has a home to recover in, and we would be so grateful.
