I'm On Leave to Get Surgery on My Foot, but I Will Be Evicted Before I Recover!

My Story:

I am a 48-year-old divorced woman who lives alone with my dog, and I have a job at Walmart. I enjoy going to church and volunteering with the ministry in my free time.

Back in October, I started having severe pain in my right foot, and after visiting the doctor, I found out I have tarsal tunnel syndrome. I have been on leave from work since then, as I can barely walk without experiencing debilitating pain. I am having surgery on my foot this month, but I will be out of work for an additional 6-8 weeks to recover. At this point, I have already used every resource at my disposal to stay up to date on my bills, and I have no idea how I will scrape by for an additional two months. I am wiped out financially and terrified of ending up homeless.

am asking for this one-time help with my rent, so I can recover in my home. I am a month behind already, and I know I will end up getting evicted before I return to work. My rent is my largest bill, so if I can get this help, I can catch up with any other remaining bills. Your help will hold me over until I can return to work and ensure my foot can heal properly. Thank you so much for your compassion.
