I Lost Work After My Daughter was Diagnosed With Lupus, & Now I Can't Afford to Move for My New Job!
My Story:
I'm a single mother to a beautiful 5-year-old daughter who is very smart and loving; she loves school and telling me all the stuff she is learning. I work full-time at a warehouse doing check-ins. My daughter's father went to prison when she was only 6 months old, and I've been doing it all on my own, with no family to help me, since then.
I recently got a much better job offer in Arkansas, but I cannot afford to move my daughter and I there. My daughter was diagnosed with lupus recently, and I missed work for 2 weeks to care for her. I was able to put a deposit down for the house we are going to move into, but since I lost wages, I have nothing left for the moving truck nor the rent at my current apartment.
I am asking for some assistance getting my daughter and I from Ohio to Arkansas. I'm scared we will end up homeless, as I am behind on my rent here and just put a lot of money toward our new housing arrangement. This assistance will mean a better life for my daughter and I; I will be able to support us much better after settling into my new job, and I would be forever thankful for your kindness.
