Rent for Disabled Woman Trying Hard
My Story:
I am totally disabled from an injury when I broke my neck/back. I also suffer from several other medical problems. I have had two mild heart attacks, suffer from Mitral Valve Prolapse, rare blood disease, high blood pressure, spinal stenosis and adult apnea.
My son lives with me who is 22 yrs. old and just started a job with McDonald's. He takes care of me and our residence. I was forced to retire from IBM as a computer engineer due to my severe medical conditions. We currently are unable to meet are living expenses because we got behind when my son lost his old job. He has been back to work for about 8 weeks now.
We are behind on our rent and could really use some help. We just need to catch up and we should be able to handle things from here on. I am on lifeline programs, and we do not get any food stamps, so we have to live on the bare minimum right now. We have actually gone without milk and other food items to buy gas for the car so my son can continue to work. We have been surviving on his free food items each day that he works in order to have something to eat.
This grant would greatly help us and put us back on track so we will not be behind any more and can actually pay ahead. I hope you can see that we just need some immediate help to get back on track. We greatly appreciate your consideration for our request. Thank you in advance.
