Car Repairs Needed For New Job
My Story:
I have been unemployed going on 2 1/2 years due to layoffs from previous jobs. Although I have impeccable references (and I can supply them) from my past employers, it has been extremely difficult to find employment in this economy. I have looked tirelessly for work. The past 26 years I have always been employed and never relied on government assistant. I have the opportunity to change careers and start working and training at the same time for a Pharmacy Technician.
The unemployment compensation that I receive is extremely limited and after paying all of my necessary bills I have no income left to pay for other necessities like auto repairs. That is why I need assistance to drive to and from work. With this position and training I will be able to get my state certification within 6 months and my national certification within a year, which means I will be more employable and I will be able to maintain employment especially since Pharmacy Technician is a growing field.
In the past I have worked in Administrative roles, banking and management positions and hopefully I will be able to add a health profession to my list. I have already been to school for medical coding and passed with A grades. No medical offices are willing to hire if you don't have any experience. Having the repair done on my car will give me that opportunity I need to land back on my feet and into the work force. It would mean so much to me and it would be a blessing to receive this grant. Please consider my application; it would be the beginning of a means to an end (unemployment). Thank you.
