Sick Children's Hospital Recovery
My Story:
Dear Modest Needs/Donors:
My son was born in The Hospital for Sick Children, diagnosed with a Diaphragmatic Hernia plus underdeveloped lungs and an incorrectly placed heart. Immediately following birth he required a life saving surgery and many additional risky procedures. Though successful, the recovery was difficult and thus required a lengthy stay at Sick Kids. Thankfully the prognosis is good and he has been somewhat of a miracle case. Though far from the finish line, he has thankfully exceeded the expectations of the surgical team.
It's a constant battle to recover from accumulated costs under my current financial circumstances. I'm sending this request today hoping for some assistance in paying a bill. During the time in Toronto, much of the costs were far more than I could afford.
I'm here humbly asking that you please help pay my rent. This would greatly improve my ability to catch up on at least some of the other debts owed as a result of this difficult yet rewarding life experience.
Things other than financial seem to be going so wonderfully so far, and I would like nothing more than to have the opportunity to be free of this stress. This way I can focus one hundred percent of my efforts on this beautiful child of mine.
I would like to thank you all in advance for taking the time to consider my request for help. It's so amazing to think that there are such caring individuals out there, willing to assist those of us who would otherwise have no other direction to turn.
