Need Crucial Work on Car for Safety

My Story:

Thank you for caring. I am a widowed mother caring for a seriously mentally ill adult daughter who returned to me from mental health because we cannot afford the help. I also raise her 10-year-old daughter. Medical bills and other expenses of just going to doctors and drug stores and to treatment has eaten into my limited income.

Someone has paid our rent for the past year to keep us from being evicted. There is only so much one person can do. I actually collapsed three weeks ago while in the car and while a patient in hospital was told that I am pushing myself too much. I am diabetic and have RA. My daughter and granddaughter need help and I am the one to be here for them as much as I can.

My car is 11 years old and it needs breaks badly. It also needs some work so that it will pass inspection, which is required to get a tag in TN. I cannot afford either, but I need the car. I do work out of my home, which I need to do so that I can also care for my daughter, but my industry has been so depleted the past two years that I have not even had to pay taxes on the little I have made.

I am humbly grateful for anything that you can provide. What a blessing your ministry is to people like me who want to make it on our own, but what others consider normal maintenance expenses become like a hangman's noose around our necks. Thank you for your help.
