I really can't express the feeling I got when I saw that my request for help was funded - and I can't put into words what a difference your help has made. My daughter was born on Wednesday. It was such a wonderful experience and I feel so blessed that I no longer need to worry about how I'm going to take her to her doctor appointments, how I'm going to make those emergency trips to the store for diapers (LOL), and just the freedom that havinga a vehicle provides. Pregnant Single Mom Needs Help
My Story:
I am the mother of a beautiful 5-year-old daughter and 7 months pregnant with my second daughter. I work full time and for the past 4 months I have been walking to work, to pick my daughter up from her after-school program, and to the grocery store.
My vehicle is not drivable due to an accident I was in and, although I have insurance, I have not been able to come up with the $1000 deductible my policy requires. I make enough to pay my monthly bills each month, but I do not have anything left over to save for unusual expenses. I'm feeling more exhausted as I get further along in my pregnancy and the weather is getting colder.
I'm always so worried about my 5-year-old's safety walking along busy streets with me to get home during the week. I hold on to her so tight. It would be such a blessing if we could get some help getting our car running again. Thank you for your consideration.
