Divorcing - Help With Medical Bill

My Story:

Hello, I had major back surgery in February of 2010. I have not worked in months as a result and am now in the process of possibly divorcing. I have two small children to provide for and I get very minimal help from my spouse. I am overwhelmed by the collection calls for medical bills and I do not own anything.

My husband has already filed for bankruptcy and won't help and won't help me with the kids. I am unable to pay for this medical bill because I'm 1,800 miles from the closest family member who cannot help me and have just recently had surgery. Please, I need your help.
