To all the wonderful people at modestneeds and donors: THANK YOU. When I opened the email and saw that my request had been funded I was so happy. It sure will help with some of the stress of the last months - we were involved in the wildfires here in California - we were out of our house for 2 1/2 weeks (house was safe but we were in a shelter) and then on top of that husband had emergency retina detachment surgery on top of that the week we were able to return home! When it rains it pours so this news sure was a ray of sunshine! And today I got a part time job for the holidays - it's not much but it's something! Things are looking up - thanks to wonderful people.
Dental Work - Affecting Health
My Story:
My husband broke his bridge, and the teeth that were holding it in have to be removed. He also needs implants put in, along with a new plate and top dentures.
I have been out of work for the first time in 30 years, and have been actively looking for work. This is starting to affect his health, and the broken teeth need to be removed as soon as possible, as he is also having weekly oncology treatments.
We would really appreciate any help you can offer to us.
