Single Mother Needs Mortgage Help

My Story:

I don't know where to begin except to say that I am tired. I don't sleep at night. I haven't slept a whole night through for weeks now. I wake up at 4 AM and worry until it's time to go to work. Everyday, I worry about what is going to 'go,' next.

I was unemployed for six months and I fell so far behind on everything that I just cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just started a new job and I have been working for three weeks. On my very first day, my telephone was disconnected so my first check went to clear that account.

I have to have a telephone because my young son can't be at home alone after school without one and my husband left back in November so it's just us now. My mortgage is a month behind, actually, as of today, it is two months behind. Next week I will be able to make one payment, and there goes another who paycheck.

I don't know if anyone can help us. Times are hard for everyone, but if someone out there could find in it their hearts to help us over this last hurdle, I would be most grateful. I am confident that if I get the mortgage caught up.

I'll be able to keep it up and it will not take me long to work on all the other little things. I would rest a little easier and be far more productive if I did not have to worry about my son and I joining the ranks of the homeless. Thank you and God bless.
