An Uninsured Driver Hit My Car, & I Spent Thousands to Fix It. I Have Nothing Left for My Car Note!
My Story:
I am a single woman that resides in Georgia. I currently stay with friends and work for a psychiatrist.
I have been living paycheck to paycheck since being in a car accident in January. An uninsured driver hit me, so I have been paying out of pocket for a rental car to get to work. The other driver failed to alert me that he did not have insurance until our cars had been sitting in the lot for over two months, incurring daily fees, so I had to pay thousands to get it taken out.
I'm hoping for assistance with my car note. I have been unable to pay because I am spending a significant portion of my paycheck on the rental car, and my finances were extremely affected by removing my car from the tow lot to repair it. This assistance will ensure that I can actually keep my car once they fix it. All the money I spent on the repairs might go to waste now because I do not have enough left over to pay my car note on time. I will never forget this help. It will ensure I do not fall into a much worse situation without a vehicle. I will be in good status again with the car company and not have to worry about getting fired from my job.
