After Paying for My Mother's Funeral, I'm Struggling to Afford Our Rent! Please Help!

My Story:

I am a single mom of three wonderful kids. My oldest is 9 years old and his name is Larry. My 3 year old is Josiah, and he is excited to start pre-K this upcoming school year. My last born is Treasure, and I only had her last month. She's my first girl of the bunch. I work from home full-time caring for both Josiah and Treasure while Larry goes to school.

Our hardship really began when I lost my mother in February. Her wishes were to be buried, which is significantly more expensive. Due to her health issues, she was unable to obtain a life insurance policy she was satisfied with. That left my sister and I as financially responsible. Losing her has been incredibly difficult. My mother was a big help to me, and she regularly assisted me with additional expenses and also by watching the kids while I was away at work. After using all the money I had to assist with my mother's funeral and burial, I am left living less than paycheck to paycheck. I've fallen behind on our rent because I have had to pay for more childcare.

I am asking for assistance with the cost of my rent. If I am unable to get help, my kids and I are at risk of being homeless. This support would save my family's home, and it would give me a chance to give us some long term stability once again.
