After Repairing Our Vehicle, I Can't Afford Our Utilities & We're Facing a Shut-Off! Please Help!

My Story:

I am a single mother to a beautiful baby boy named Pearce. My baby is an energetic 18-month old who is eager to explore the world. He is at the stage where he is fully aware and engaged in everything around him; he is fully concentrated on my behavior and curious about what I'm doing. His curiosity continues to thrive and flourish each second. It is so beautiful to watch him grow and be a part of his world. My son and I love to spend time outdoors and talk about everything he sees and hears. He loves animals, planes, and trees at the moment. Pearce loves to play with dirt and helps me plant flowers in our yard. The sunshine and outdoors are where we spend the most time together and every second that I have with my baby is a cherished moment.

We live paycheck to paycheck, and I currently work and earn enough to provide my son and I with food and a comfortable home to live in, but I have nothing to put away for emergencies. I typically make just enough for our mortgage, electric/utilities, groceries, daycare, and gas to take us to/from work and daycare. This month my car's tires needed to be replaced due to age; the mechanic told me they were bald, and it was dangerous to drive, and also my windshield cracked significantly. This unexpected expense has truly put us in a tough spot. To ensure the safety of my son during transport, I had to put these auto repair/maintenance items first this month, as this is our only mode of transportation. Because of that, I can't afford our utility bills this month, and so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with catching up on those please.

Unfortunately, because of this unexpected expense, I have to decide whether to buy groceries and pay our utilities or pay the mortgage. I worry about not being able to pay our mortgage and losing our home, but the most pressing concern is that our utilities are going to be shut-off. However, with this help, we'll be able to get back on track, and I won't have to choose between paying one bill or another or rationing our groceries and other necessities like gas. In July, my mom is going to move with me, and this is going to help us significantly because Pearce won't have to go to daycare. This support will make a substantial long-lasting impact on my son and I's quality of life.
