After Going on Maternity Leave, I'm Struggling to Cover Our Electric Bill! Please Help!

My Story:

I'm a single mother with six beautiful children at home. They can be a handful to manage all on my own, but thankfully, I have some help from their grandfather some of the time. They're all lovely kids, and I'm very honored to be their mother. We face our fair share of hardship, but nothing will ever break us as a family. Everything that I do, I do for my children.

I work full-time as the supervisor at a local restaurant, but for the last ten weeks I've been out of work on maternity leave. I gave birth to my youngest daughter recently, and I was expecting to go back to work only a few weeks after giving birth. However, I had to give birth via C-Section, and the recovery from the procedure has kept me out of work for much longer than I anticipated. I'm struggling financially, and I'm behind on our electric bill as a result. We're facing an imminent shut-off, and I won't be able to cover the bill before I return to work.

I'm humbly seeking assistance with my past due electric bill so that we don't lose our service. Currently, they aren't able to disconnect our service, but when the date passes for that in April, we'll lose our electricity. While I'm out of work on maternity leave, I won't have the means to cover this bill; however, this one time assistance would put us back on track. From there, I can handle all of our bills and provide for my children. Thank you in advance to everyone who lends us a hand with this past due bill.
