I'm a Single Mother, & We Need Help Replacing Our Fridge Please!
My Story:
I am a 58-year-old widowed mother of six children, but only two of my children still live at home. My 35-year-old daughter is an out of work truck driver until she finds new employment. She loves to travel and is the glue that holds our family together. My 17-year-old son graduates high school this year. He's very athletic, shy, and very handsome. I work full-time to take care of my family, and I work as a document processor and tax preparer.
We make enough to just get by, and I don't have much in terms of savings. Recently, our refrigerator gave out, and after a slow month at work, I wasn't able to replace it. We've been trying to manage without it, but it's almost impossible for us to do that. Without a refrigerator, we can't get groceries outside of non-perishable food items, and it's been very hard for us to find solutions. My family is really struggling, and so I'm very humbly asking for assistance with purchasing a new refrigerator.
We're using coolers and outdoors storage to try to keep things cold, but it's not really working, and I'm worried it could even make us sick. Having to order out a lot of the time has also been very cost prohibitive for us, and it's cutting into our budget. Overall, having a working refrigerator is really important to my family, and so we would be deeply appreciative of the assistance that we receive with getting a new one. Thank you.
